Glassleaf Philodendron

Glassleaf Philodendron was inspired by my own philodendron plant, reimagined through the Tiffany-style method of stained glass. Each leaf was hand-cut from soft green glass, wrapped in copper foil, and soldered together to create the layered, heart-shaped foliage philodendrons are loved for. The glass shifts beautifully in the light, echoing the natural life of the plant without ever needing water.

The plant is set in a handcrafted @jo_haven_clay_creations black and white striped pot, with a base of crushed tempered glass pieces that resemble rich, sparkling soil. This detail gives the plant depth and texture while keeping the design bright and modern.

This piece is for indoor display only. It is made with 60/40 solder (40% lead).

Care:
Spray original Pledge on a soft cloth and wipe gently to maintain its shine. If you see a white residue along the edges, it’s just protective wax and can be rubbed away with a cloth or toothbrush. Avoid harsh cleaners. Over time, solder lines may dull, but you can restore them with a quick buff of Pledge.
