Glassleaf Philodendron

Glassleaf Philodendron was inspired by my own philodendron plant, reimagined through the Tiffany-style method of stained glass. Each leaf was hand-cut from soft green glass, wrapped in copper foil, and soldered together to create the layered, heart-shaped foliage philodendrons are loved for. The glass shifts beautifully in the light, echoing the natural life of the plant without ever needing water.

This stained glass plant features 12 individually crafted leaves, each attached with carefully soldered wire so they can be gently repositioned to create the shape and fullness you prefer. The wire connections keep the piece lightweight, flexible, and easy to incorporate into your own display. Pot not included.

Care

To keep it shining, spray original Pledge on a soft cloth and wipe gently. If white residue appears along the solder lines, it’s simply protective wax and can be buffed away with a cloth or soft toothbrush. Avoid harsh cleaners. Over time, solder lines may naturally dull, but a quick polish with Pledge will restore their luster.
