Solstice Agave

I created Solstice Agave using the Tiffany-style method of stained glass, carefully hand-cutting each teal green glass leaf, wrapping it in copper foil, and soldering it together to form the plant’s bold, sculptural shape. I love how the teal glass shifts in the light, giving the agave a natural glow without ever needing water.

The plant is set in a white thrifted pot, accented with smooth black stones for a clean, modern finish. It’s a piece that blends the beauty of desert plants with the craft of stained glass—made to last and shine indoors.

Please note: this piece is designed for indoor display only. It is constructed with 60/40 solder (40% lead) and should not be consumed or used with food or drink.

Care Instructions:
Maintenance is simple—no watering required! To keep your stained glass looking its best, dust occasionally with a soft cloth. If you see a white residue around the edges, gently rub it away with a cloth or soft toothbrush; this is from the protective wax and is completely normal. Do not use harsh cleaners. Instead, spray a little original Pledge onto a cloth and wipe the piece clean.
